Our Commitment

Edithority is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We strive to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA so that everyone — including people who use assistive technologies — can use our platform fully and independently.

Measures We Take

  • Keyboard navigation throughout the entire application.
  • Skip-to-content link for screen reader and keyboard users.
  • Semantic HTML landmarks (nav, main, footer, section) with ARIA labels.
  • Descriptive alt text on all meaningful images.
  • Visible focus indicators on interactive elements.
  • Form fields with associated labels and aria-required attributes.
  • Live regions (aria-live) for dynamic status messages.
  • Sufficient colour contrast ratios (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text).
  • Decorative icons hidden from assistive technologies via aria-hidden.
  • Responsive design that works at up to 400% zoom without horizontal scrolling.

Conformance Status

Edithority is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We are actively working to identify and remediate any remaining gaps. Our goal is full conformance.

Known Limitations

Some embedded third-party video content (demo videos) may not include captions or audio descriptions. We are working with our video provider to improve this. If you need an accessible alternative, please contact us and we will provide one.

Feedback & Contact

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of Edithority. If you experience any barriers, please let us know so we can address them promptly.

Enforcement Procedure

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the relevant national equality body or ombudsman in your country for further assistance.
