Please read this Disclaimer carefully before using the Edithority platform. By accessing or using Edithority, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms set out below.
The information and analysis provided by Edithority ("the Platform", "we", "us", or "our") are intended solely for informational and editorial support purposes. All content analysis results, scores, markers, and recommendations generated by Edithority are produced by automated artificial intelligence systems (powered by Anthropic's Claude API) and do not constitute professional legal, journalistic, editorial, financial, or compliance advice.
This disclaimer applies equally to content published on the Edithority Blog. Blog articles are AI-assisted and editorially reviewed, but are informational only and do not constitute professional advice of any kind. The inclusion of a topic in a Blog post does not imply endorsement, legal validation, or editorial certification of any related content, product, or service.
Edithority does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of any analysis results or Blog content for any particular purpose. Users are solely responsible for the interpretation and application of any output generated by the Platform.
Edithority employs large language models (LLMs) — specifically Anthropic's Claude API — and automated analytical systems to evaluate content across multiple dimensions, including but not limited to factual integrity, bias detection, legal compliance signals, algorithmic optimization, and editorial quality markers. The Platform also uses automated language detection and machine translation to process non-English content. Reports are automatically translated back into the user's original language.
AI-generated analysis results — including any translations performed during the round-trip language processing — are probabilistic by nature and may contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations. Edithority's outputs should be treated as supplementary editorial guidance only — not as definitive assessments of truthfulness, legal compliance, journalistic integrity, or translation accuracy.
Users must independently verify any factual claims, legal risks, compliance issues, or translated passages identified or produced by the Platform before making editorial, publishing, or business decisions based on such outputs.
EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689): Edithority's AI-powered analysis tools may be classified as general-purpose AI systems under the EU AI Act. In accordance with transparency obligations, we disclose that our platform uses AI-generated outputs which are not infallible and should be reviewed by a qualified human before acting upon them. We do not use our systems for prohibited AI practices as defined under the EU AI Act.
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any representations or warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Edithority expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy of results.
We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We make no warranty that the results obtained from the use of the Platform will be accurate, reliable, or meet your requirements.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Edithority, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Platform or its outputs.
This includes, without limitation, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, reputation, data, business opportunities, or any other intangible losses, even if Edithority has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In no event shall Edithority's total aggregate liability to any user for all claims arising out of or relating to the use of the Platform exceed the amount paid by that user to Edithority in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Edithority is designed to support — not replace — professional editorial judgment. The Platform does not assume any editorial responsibility for content that users choose to publish following an analysis.
Users remain entirely responsible for the accuracy, legality, ethical standards, and public impact of any content they produce, edit, or publish, regardless of the analysis results or recommendations provided by Edithority.
Scores, recommendations, and markers provided by the Platform do not constitute endorsements, approvals, or certifications of any submitted content.
The Platform integrates with third-party services including Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting and serverless infrastructure), Anthropic (AI inference), Lemon Squeezy (payments), and optionally Synthesia (video content). Edithority has no control over the content, privacy policies, or practices of these or any other third-party services and assumes no responsibility for them beyond the contractual obligations in our data processing agreements.
Any reliance on third-party data, APIs, or information sources accessed through or referenced by the Platform is at the user's own risk. We do not endorse or make any representations about third-party websites or services.
Embedded video content or external demonstrations may be hosted by third-party providers such as Synthesia. Edithority is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or accessibility of such content.
Edithority reserves the right to modify, update, or replace this Disclaimer at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Platform.
